This year I have planned another route that involves taking on the ‘Stella Alpina’, the BMW Festival at Garmisch Partenkirchen, about nine mountain passes, some great cities (including Bruges), great roads, good bars and a mixture of camping and hotels. At the ‘Stella Alpina’ we will only be going as high as everyone is comfortable with or people can wait whilst other venture higher (knobbly tyres not required).
Everyone is welcome on this trip as long as you are clear I take no responsibility for you - you book your own Eurotunnel crossing and hotels (I have selected them for you to book if you want to be in the same one as us) and it is up to you if you travel with us as a group or go at your own pace.
The trip is very much geared at Adventure bikes as I hate stopping at fuel stations every time we stop so a 200 mile tank range would be ideal as a minimum. You will also need to carry all your own kit (I can provide a kit list).
I have travelled through Europe many times before and am happy to offer advice and conversation and the trip will definitely be one to remember.
